Fresco Unveils Cross-Brand Kitchen at IFA Berlin 2023

Fresco was delighted to showcase our cross-brand smart kitchen at IFA Berlin with a live cooking demonstration using Fresco-connected appliances from leading brands in our ecosystem.

IFA Berlin, renowned as one of the world's largest consumer tech events, has a rich history dating back to 1924, with its official inauguration graced by Albert Einstein in 1930. Held annually at Messe Berlin every September, the event attracts over 130 countries and 2,000 innovative consumer electronics brands.

Pioneers in the industry, leading brands, and new product launches converge here, captivating attendees with demos, pitches, and investor panels.

Numerous announcements from industry giants like Samsung and LG took center stage this year, focusing on primary themes of smart technology, sustainability, and, notably, AI, one of the many reasons Fresco was excited to be a part of the event.

Fresco's Smart Cooking Workshop

Earlier this year, Fresco introduced KitchenOS, our cutting-edge smart kitchen platform, enabling seamless control of any kitchen appliance, regardless of the brand. At IFA, we hosted a cooking demo and panel discussion to showcase how we are helping brands deliver seamless cooking experiences and generate value throughout the lifecycle of their appliances.

During the event, we delved into the KitchenOS platform, providing insights into its inner workings, including universal firmware, IoT, and advanced AI models that drive innovation for appliance brands, led by Ben Harris, Fresco's CEO and Co-founder.

Regan Burns, Fresco's Global Head of Content, conducted a live cooking demonstration showcasing the seamless integration of appliances from leading brands in our ecosystem. She walked attendees through our smart features, such as guided cooking, real-time monitoring, and multi-appliance control.

Adam Bermingham, Fresco's VP of Engineering, AI, shared insights into the innovative capabilities of KitchenOS, including AI-powered recipes to support and guide the home cook step-by-step and enable non-connected recipes to work for any smart kitchen.

Tim Redfern, Co-founder and Head of Innovation, discussed emerging standards in the connected home and the world of IoT.

To conclude, there was an opportunity for questions and a panel discussion, followed by the chance for everyone in the audience to taste delicious dishes prepared using Fresco-connected appliances.

Thank you to those who attended the workshop. We are already looking forward to next year and sharing the latest innovations as we continue to expand our ecosystem.
